I used to wonder how Max learned how to take selfies using a Polaroid but when you get down to it, it’s easier in some ways than with a phone camera. With a Polaroid camera you have a square box taking the picture. If you can see any side of that camera, you don’t have the camera with you firmly in its sights. So really what is amazing is the wrist-strength Max has to take pictures one-handed with that camera.
That said, Mark Jefferson is an even greater asshole in that AU, though maybe it’s an AU where Rachel is alive, Jeffershit is just an ass rather than murderous, and Chloe and Max plan their revenge by putting graffiti all over his nice fancy car.
